Nile is the longest river in the world, have an approximate length of 6650 kilometers. It is originated from Burundi country and flows through Kenya, Eritrea, Congo, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, then meet with Mediterranean sea. Nile plays an importance role in life of ancient Egyptians. The river became the primary source of food, water and transportation. At same time the flooding in Nile river as result of heavy summer rain from Ethiopia became only source that makes Egyptian lands wet. It helped ancient Egyptian to easily cultivate plant seeds.
The historical sites of Egypt including pyramids also located near the bank of Nile. The delta formed by Nile also located where it drain with Mediterranean sea, covers an area of 160 kilometers and 40 millions of Egyptians lives in that region.
