It is a 101 miles long, 984 feet wide artificial water line that connect Mediterranean sea with Red sea. Suez canal considered as the shortest link between Europe and Asia. It makes water transportation and trade much easier by cutting down navigation around Africa. Nowadays it became the busiest manmade waterline in the world, also counts less number of accidents in comparing with other water ways.
It took 10 years for the construction of Suez canal starting from the year 1859. The ships from all nations can be pass through Suez canal. The advanced radar system managed by Suez canal authority will monitor the ships on every spot. So that immediate actions can be take upon emergency cases.
